Meet Zam Ramirez
My Story
Hello there! I'm Zam, the creator of Zamboz Sanctuary, your go-to place for postural and stress management. Whether you're looking to unwind, learn, or grow, I'm here to guide you through it all and learn from you as well.
Originally from Mexico, I've fully embraced a new culture over the past 16 years. Through my journey, first in the esthetics industry , I've come to realize that everyone holds the key to their own healing, but sometimes our bodies need a little assistance. That's where I come in – to help you discover what works best for you, understanding your body's needs and movements without any force.
My background also as a dancer has equipped me with teamwork experience, the thrill of performing, and insights into physical challenges like burnout and injuries. Just before the pandemic hit, I decided to pursue my passion further and enrolled in Registered Massage Therapy education. After 2200 hours of dedication, I graduated with honours from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy, where I now also teach Year 2 of the MT program.
But I didn't stop there – driven by a desire to serve my community better, I've embarked on osteopathic studies at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. I just finished my first year and I'll be completing it in 3 years.
Assessments and personalized home care plans are integral parts of my approach. While I may not know all the answers, I can certainly direct you into a better direction with honesty, clear communication and deep care.
In addition to my therapeutic role, I'm also a certified esthetician, offering services like lash lifts, tints, and body waxing. You can check out my full service menu here.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with loved ones, watching brain-challenging movies, immersing myself in nature, dancing, and indulging in audiobooks. Oh, and I absolutely adore whipping up delicious meals and exploring new places with my husband.
So, I warmly welcome you to my sanctuary, where you can relax, rejuvenate, and embark on your journey to better health.
Warmly,
Zam Ramirez
